Liz is a keen filler of sketchbooks, working with ink, wax, collaged scraps, acrylic paint and anything she can make a mark or print with. Concertina sketchbooks lend themselves to capturing journeys on Europe’s pilgrim paths, across Englands estuaries and in our finest cathedrals , where she can combine sketching with her other passion for singing. Liz aspires to capture the ‘ness’ of a place, often incorporating a line of text or music into her work, but always endeavouring to enjoy the journey rather than be distracted by the destination.
