Helen paints and draws her observations from the world around her, and has included some of her favourite places in this exhibition. There is a mix of the natural world and buildings to show how she views the world and reflecting her 30 year career in architecture.

She prefers to work in pencil line and watercolour, although also draws with charcoal and pastels. Helen often does caricatures and cartoons to record significant events in her and her family and friend’s lives as a type of diary of her life. Her artwork is created from life or in the studio
