I am an architect and maker based in South Bristol.
Much of my artwork uses cast concrete and explores the tactility and fragility of this seemingly robust material. The 3-dimensional pieces and reliefs play with texture and detail, light and surface. Pieces change throughout the day as the light moves. Every item is unique.
Some of my work incorporates cast botanicals and/or gold leaf to juxtapose the hard nature of concrete. Colour has also been incorporated into some works.
Pieces range from practical items such as pots, clocks and door numbers to jewellery and decorative reliefs. Commissions are welcome.
