Rebecca Lisle studied Botany at University and has an MA in Creative Writing. She has published over 25 books for children but now almost exclusively works as a sculptor.
She creates extraordinary pieces entirely from salvaged wood. Floorboards and brooms that were once employed by women are now transformed into works of art by a woman. The sculptures have a delightful patina and texture.
Her work has been shown at the Wells Contemporary, Black Swan, Society of Women Artists, David Simon Contemporary Gallery, RWA and others.
