I studied Painting and Printmaking at the Slade school University College London and at the British School at Rome. After working briefly as an Art therapist I have worked in secondary and adult education including teaching several Summer Schools in Denmark where I lived for a while.
I use a variety of techniques in my printmaking and am a member of Spike Print Studio where most of my work is produced. My work is produced in very small Editions and I often use blends of colours which means that there are slight variations between prints. I use cut paper stencils and a more elaborate codatrace process which reproduces drawings and a variety of other marks on the Silkscreen. This is often a voyage of discovery where I have little idea of how the final Image will evolve – but the journey is always exciting!
I have exhibited in a number of galleries in Bristol and Bath including on a number of occasions the Royal West of England Acadamy in the Autumn Exhibitions and their Open Print makers shows.
