Harshinder trained at Salisbury College of Art and Design in Fashion and Textiles. For many years she worked as an accomplished fashion designer and was featured in the BBC clothes show in the 90’s. Alongside this, she also taught for many years in the both fashion, arts and design.
After her son was diagnosed with autism she decided to concentrate on her work as an artist.
She composes detailed and textured artwork layering paint and other organic material into her work to make the finished piece alive with movement, energy and passion.
Besides creating her own work she enjoys working to commission. In such cases she spends time with the client to observe the qualities of the space in which the client wishes to hang a piece of her work. Spacial atmosphere, qualities of fabrics, lighting conditions and colours. From this brief she creates a piece to complement the colours and atmosphere of the specific location.
Her work is showcased in some local restaurants, Nutmeg, El Peurto, The Mintroom, and a few hotels such as the Raddissons Blu London Mayfair
