Matt makes intuitive abstract images. Working in a mix of collage, painting and drawing Matt’s work reflects the mix of the urban and the rural that stems from living on the edge of Bristol.

Images are worked over with many layers of paint added and peeled away, edited and re-oriented, hopefully leading to something that feels resolved.
