Dona is the illustrator behind the Bristol-based brand ‘dona B drawings’. Originally trained as a Spatial Designer, Dona is crazy about drawing buildings & big, engineered landmarks. That’s perfect for Bristol with its wide-ranging architecture and Brunel heritage.
She was one of the artists selected for the Gloucester Road Art Banners in 2017 and is really excited about the upcoming publication of the Bristol & Bath Art Book in which she features. She has also written a children’s picture book with illustrations by Jon Dixon from Dixon Does Doodles during the 2020 lockdown which will be published this year.
Working with a combination of hand-drawing and computer graphics Dona has created illustrations of iconic Bristol landmarks including the Suspension Bridge, SS Great Britain, Concorde, The Matthew & Cabot Tower which are available as prints. Her illustrations are also printed onto a range of gifts & homewares from mugs to magnets, tote bags to table mats & more, celebrating the beauty, culture & heritage of Bristol.
Dona is available for house portrait or wedding venue commissions or maybe you have a range of products you would like her to develop. Pop in and say hello or do get in touch via any of the links below.
