Trained as a medical doctor in Sheffield in the 1980s and 90s and has been in Bristol working as a GP in the local community for the last 25 years. With reluctance she decided to take a break from Medicine in 2022 for a time of refreshment and has been undergoing her own renaissance.

 

She started to fulfil her deep desire to learn to paint in watercolours on turning 50; taking adult learning classes at Stoke Lodge and this year she is doing a Foundation Course in Painting under the mentorship of Trevor Waugh BA SGFA, in oil and watercolour.

She will be exhibiting a collection of her watercolour and oil paintings, mainly landscapes with the odd surprise, in the hope of sharing her renaissance and passion.
