An etcher and enameller, Ann’s work is inspired by her travel and reading, and by artists such as Odilon Redon, Ana Maria Pacheco and Bill Viola. She likes the challenge of transposing images from one medium – pastel or etching – into another, such as enamel, and exploring how the characteristics of the original concepts are affected by the different medium.
At the 2014 National Original Print exhibition at the Bankside Gallery, London she won the Zenith Purchase Prize for her monoprint Exodus.
She has held exhibitions in London and the West Country and shown her enamels in the USA, Japan and Europe. In Bristol she exhibits at the RWA annual exhibitions and the Tobacco Factory, also the Bath Society of Arts.
