During Lockdown, unable to mix with the people who are usually the subject of my photography, I turned my attention to nature; in particular an area of Bristol that is very familiar to me: Bishops Knoll.

It was created as a pleasure garden in the late Victorian era but after the house was demolished in the 1980s, nature began to take over.

On successive visits I was struck with the symbolism of a garden that has all but disappeared as nature reasserts itself.

In the context of Lockdown there was an eerie lack of humanity that was quite compelling.

The exhibition comprises a slide show projection with sound effects, prints and a handmade photobook
