Heather works with paint, fabric and machine stitching to create images that are colourful and witty. Her love of theatre, foreign travel and cycling through Clifton provide her with plenty of subject matter.

Since retiring from teaching she has attended life drawing classes and Embroiderers’ Guild workshops and is a member of Clifton Arts.

She has exhibited at RWA, Clifton Arts and Embroiders’ Guild exhibitions and also in France. She has taken part in WBAT since its beginning.

Commissioned work includes houses, weddings, family portraits, a yacht and a camper van.
