Colour, texture, pattern, form in nature influence my work as a textile artist.

I like to work with a variety of silk fabrics which I paint, dye, embellish with stitch, decorate with glass and semi-precious stone beads, ?then make into scarves, neckpieces, necklaces,? earrings? and brooches.

The current series has been inspired by sumptuous costume of the Renaissance and Tudor period.
