(born March 1st 1955; died August 16th 2012)
Andrew trained at Kingston Polytechnic and The Royal College of Art. Alongside his painting career he was a keen gardener and worked in the gardens of Hampton Court Palace for three years. His fascination for botanical paintings began his commissioning career through Mallett of New Bond Street .
He was also called upon to submit work for advertising and packaging; the biscuit tin for Crabtree and Evelyn being a family favourite. He eventually worked for Walt Disney as a background artist in London and Paris. He loved the buzz of the busy studios and his nephew and niece were proud to see his name in the titles of Ducktails, The Movie when it came out on general release.
The exhibition is a mixture of his work from all stages of his career, some originals and some copies of commissioned work.
